Staff and friends of B&Q at Manchester Fort teamed up to support the housing and homelessness charity Shelter, walking together for a worthy cause.
The charity walk started and finished at the Manchester Fort B&Q store, following the local 151 bus route – a poignant choice, reflecting the heartbreaking estimate of 151,000 homeless children at Christmas.
The Region 3 stores, that includes B&Q at Manchester Fort, have collectively raised over £5,300 for the charity – an amazing effort from all that took part!

B&Q has partnered with Shelter since 2017, sharing the belief that everyone should have a place they can call home. Over the course of their partnership, B&Q has raised more than £5 million for the charity, allowing them to provide services for over 100,000 people.
